This will probably be my last post, since this blog was part of a computer class that I take at DeAnza College in Cupertino, CA. I actually have enjoyed having this blog. It documents things my kids and I do together. It's helped us get out and do fun things together so I have something to write about. Haha!! Maybe, I'll change my mind and continue to blog!!!
We were pretty busy this week. Ania had a summer camp field trip to Gilroy Gardens on Wednesday. She had a blast with her friends. We also made it to Build-A-Bear workshop to make teddy bears that Wednesday. It was the start of their buy one get one free campaign, and we weren't going to miss it!!!! My kids have been begging me to make them, so I finally caved. They have so many add-ons now for your bear. Last time I made a bear was 11 years ago. Ania added a cotton candy smell to her bear and it barks like a puppy. LOL! Her's is outfited with cute jeggings, sparkly black shoes, a San Francisco Giants T-Shirt and hair!!! Yes, I said hair!!! Jameson's bear burps and he couldn't be happier. I love his deep belly giggle everytime he pushes the button. His bear is outfitted with a "Joe Cool" Snoopy T-shirt and that's it!!! LOL!!
We decided to have a lazy Saturday morning. Watching movies and laying in bed, but we didn't stay home for too long. My kids are all about being active and out doing something. We went to the river for round 2. This time we went a little farther and closer to a little waterfall. There's just something about water, sunshine, and my kids that makes me appreciate everything in my life. God has truly blessed me, and I am excited to what comes next for my little family of three!!!

Saturday at the River
Yesterday the kids and I met some friends down at the river to hang out for a few hours. The water was freezing but refreshing. It was such a beautiful day. We built sand castles, a minecraft sand city, skipped rocks, and just enjoyed being out in the sun. We finished the day at the river with playing at the park. I try and limit electronic use when the kids are with me. I want them to enjoy the outdoors and play outside like I did as a kid. Til next time.....

Where is the time going?
Can I just take some time to reminisce for a second. My daughter came up to me this week and said, "Mom! In 10 years I'll be 17." Those words stopped me dead in my tracks. I'll be honest that my first thought was, ugh, in 10 years I'll be 40. Then her words truly sunk in. 10 years from now, she will have graduated high school and we will be getting ready for her to start college. I got caught up in the future thoughts of buying dorm stuff and memories I have with my mom in those times. Then I thought about the first time I held her in my arms. I remember it like it was yesterday and thinking about how these 7 years have flown by. These next 10 years will fly by faster than I would like or like to admit. We all need the reminder sometimes to stop and enjoy every moment, good or bad. My reminder came in the form of my little girl wanting to grown up. I'm excited to see what these next 10 years have in store for us as a family of 3...
Take no day for granted!!!!
Till next time....

Pop the Pig
For my birthday the kids bought me a new game called Pop the Pig. We normally have game night every Tuesday but we have been playing this game nonstop. We love it! The point of the game is to feed the pig hamburgers that have numbers located on the bottom of them. You place the hamburger in his mouth and you pump air into his tummy as many times as you hamburger says. The winner is the one that causes him to pop. My son is 5 so it helps him with number recognizing, counting and his colors. My daughter plays because she enjoys beating me in all games. For me, I just enjoy the time we spend together and them not yelling at each other for a little while at least..lol...til next time!!!!!

My birthday and Mini Golf
We will start off first with my birthday was Thursday, July 7th and I turned the "Dirty Thirty!" YIKES!!! Now that Ive been 30 for a couple days now, IT's NOT SO BAD!!! LOL!! My mom traveled down from Ukiah to enjoy the day with me and the kids. Ania, my daughter, planned with the help of my mom a small little surprise party. It was so much fun to celebrate with the people who are truly my whole world. Now, Fast forward to Saturday! The kids and I went Mini Golfing for the first time together at Neptune's Kingdom on the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, CA. Its only 5.00 a person and it is a 18 hole course. The kids and I had such a blast. It was a great pirate themed set up and there were cannons that go off every one in a while. My son thought the cannons were the best part. My daughter is a natural when it comes to anything sports related. She completely impressed me by getting a hole in one. It will definitely be something we do again together. We followed up the mini golf with Slurpee's from 7Eleven and Panda Express for lunch!!! It was a perfect way to end our week. Until next time....
